So Aaron raised his hand over the waters of Egypt, and frogs came up and covered the whole land!
THE REACTION
Exodus 8:7-8 NLT
But the magicians were able to do the same thing with their magic. They, too, caused frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.
Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and begged, “Plead with the Lord to take the frogs away from me and my people. I will let your people go, so they can offer sacrifices to the Lord.”
Observation (s):
- The Egyptian magicians always attempted to replicate the effect of what God had brought to pass.
But the magicians were able to do the same thing with their magic. They, too, caused frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.
- The magicians could not reverse the acts of God. Pharaoh had to call upon God, through Moses and Aaron to have the reversal done.

Application:
Isn’t it exciting to know what while your enemies will sometimes have the power to replicate the effects of what God has produced, they will never have the power or authority required to negate anything that God has brought to fruition? I am gladdened by this fact when I think of all the blessings God has already brought to fruition and the promises He has bestowed.
When you are surrounded by enemies whose constant desire is to see you fall, this is a revelation that brings so much comfort and peace. The devil cannot take away what God has brought to pass. Only God has the power and authority to reverse what He has brought to pass or bestowed.
