A Quick Fun Fact: My first name has both a French and Spanish meaning. In French, my name means “water channel” or “canal” or “water pipe”. I was disappointed when I learned that little fact. I thought the French did me an injustice! It felt so ordinary (and I am anything but ordinary…) 🙂 .
My perception changed when God gave me a renewed perspective on the definition: “I would be the channel through which He blessed many others.” It turns out I was born to give whatever God poured into me and directed me to output to others. In other words:
If He gets it to me, He trusted that He could channel or get it through me to others. I was supplied by the Father to supply others. I am a channel.
Sounds cool, right? I decided to live up to the definition of my name. At the beginning of the year, I asked the Lord to show me whom He wanted to use me to bless, every month for 2020. Guys, the results and testimonies have been incredible! Over the next few months, I want to share these stories with you, in the hope that it will inspire you to have God use you in a way that you could never imagine in your wildest dreams.

January to March 2020 – The Giving Continued…
As the end of January approached, I asked God to show me who would be the next person that He would like to bless through me. A few days later I received both a Facebook and WhatsApp appeal from someone requesting my assistance with sponsoring a few children for Church Youth Summer Camp in June 2020. The Lord immediately reminded me of the desire I had expressed to be given the means to sponsor more than the 2 children I had sponsored the previous year. Plainly put, I wanted to send as many children, as possible, to Summer Camp.
At the reminder, I kicked into gear. Game on, Daddy Jesus! 🙂 I requested account details and a week later, sent what I thought would be the only installment. The amount would have sponsored approximately 4 kids. When I told the person what I had done, she sent me a voice note expressing her sincere gratitude. It turned out that the amount I had sent was the amount required to make up the shortfall for the camp site deposit. To say I was shocked would be the understatement of the year!
But God was not done yet. He took it a step further. He directed me to be the channel through which he blessed the Summer Camp ministry for three months (January to March). Through this, he supplied a need and gave me my heart’s desire, sponsoring approximately 12 children. 🙂
The Point? I assure you there is one… 🙂
It’s an amazing feeling when God trusts that He can channel blessings through you. Equally amazing is how God placed the desire on my heart a full year before He gave me the means to execute on it. He prepared my heart ahead of the season when the need would arise! I can just see our Father moving the blessing suppliers in place, way ahead of the time when we would even know that we have a need.
In a way, we are all channels. We are supplied by God to supply blessings to others. Will you rise to the challenge and be a blessing supplier?
Awesome News!

A Quick Side Note: If you have kids, be sure to check out the YouVersion Bible app for kids. It has some incredible content and is a fabulous way to train up a child in the way he/she should grow! See what I did there? 🙂

Thank you so much for your kind words Michyboo. It was indeed an incredible blessing to be given an opportunity to bless others. I pray God will give all of that opportunity to be blessing suppliers 😀
