When I was in my late teens I attended the funeral of a woman who had just barely touched my life.
What stayed with me was the way persons spoke about her! She had touched so many lives and done so much good. I decided then and there that I wanted to live my life like that. Touching as many persons as possible. I wanted to be memorable!
April 2017, while wonderful, was a difficult month.
I was ill for a week, my appetite has still not recovered. Work was exhausting. I had friends who experienced deaths in the family. It made me realize just how quickly life goes by. It also got me thinking. If, God forbid, something should happen to me or my friends, would they know how I feel about them? Would they know how valuable they are to me? I have always been a action over words individual and so, I decided to challenge myself. In the next few days, I will reach out to each of my friends and tell him/her what I admire or value the most about them. I have already started and frankly, I am overwhelmed and touched by the responses to my messages.
Don’t wait until it’s too late! Don’t wait until all you have left are tears in your eyes, a heart overflowing with words and a bunch of regrets. Let your loved ones know how valuable they are to you, now! Will you join me on my challenge to
#TellThemNow

Everybody thinks I’ve abandoned them, life has been private and busy these days. Once I’m finished though I might take this up.
You haven’t abandoned me 😀
