Psalms 138:3 NLT
As soon as I pray, you answer me;
you encourage me by giving me strength.
Observation (s):
- Whenever David prayed, God gave him an answer.
As soon as I pray, you answer me;
you encourage me by giving me strength. - God often encouraged David by strengthening him. That encouragement is a way of answer David’s prayer.
As soon as I pray, you answer me;
you encourage me by giving me strength.
Application:
Don’t you just hate it when there is an urgent situation and you are unable to get through to the one person who can help you? Do you sometimes wonder if God is hearing or ignoring you? With God, we have a direct line to His ear, and guess what? God always answers our prayers. Sometimes we get distracted and miss His response. Sometimes, the answer is not to our liking and we choose to ignore it. Sometimes the answer doesn’t come in the form we expect and we miss it. Sometimes the answer comes according to God’s timing, not ours. Even those moments, when the answer is “wait” or “stop”, God always strengthens us, giving us what we need to get through the season until it is time to “go”.
What have you been praying for? Does it feel like God is not listening? Watch the signs around you. What is God saying to you? The strength you get each morning could be your answer to wait. No matter the situation, God always answers our prayers.
