Bible in 365 Days – Day 196

DAY 196

Focus Chapters:

  • Psalms 136
  • Psalms 146-150

Standout Verse(s):

Psalms 136:23 NLT

He remembered us in our weakness. His faithful love endures forever.

Observation (s):

  1. Through His faithful love, God remembers us in our weaknesses.

    He remembered us in our weakness. His faithful love endures forever.

Application:

Have you ever been so sick that you couldn’t move? The last time I was affected by this level of weakness was when Jamaica had an outbreak of the chikungunya virus, commonly called “chik v”. Today, if you sit and listen to Jamaicans tell you of their experiences with the disease, you will hear stories of a disease that impacted persons differently because it preyed on people’s individual weaknesses. Some, like myself, had joints that ached severely and nasal issues, others experienced diarrhea and other bowel conditions, including vomiting. There were even a few persons who died.

Chik v exploited people’s physical weaknesses, making them worse. God remembers and protects us despite our weaknesses, striving to make us better. Through His faithful love, He refrains from exploiting us and protects us from exploitation. Our Father’s faithful love endures forever, towards us.

Hi, I`m Chañel. I used to be a people-pleaser who gave 200% because of my love for people. As a result, I almost lost my mind and my life. Today, my goal is to make sure people stop putting themselves last. And, if possible, never experience what I went through!
