Bible in 365 Days – Day 128

DAY 128

Focus Chapters:

  • Psalms 22-26

Standout Verse(s):

Psalms 23:1 NLT

The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.

Observation (s):

  1. The Lord supplies all that David needed.

    The Lord is my shepherd;
        I have all that I need.

Application:

Our needs are so important to God that He always ensures that we have all that we need. A few years ago, although I had no money, I started university in faith. Throughout the three years, God supplied my tuition through grants and a part-time job that was extremely flexible when it came to my school schedule. He supplied the fare I needed to get to and from school. He provided the strength I needed to work part-time and go to school full-time while completing all my assignments on time and sitting all my exams. He made sure I could attend every class, even when tired and ensured my safety as I travelled late at nights.

Sure, there were a lot of things I wanted! I would have loved to have had my own personal transport so I didn’t have to make mad dashes to catch a cab in order to be on time for class. I would have relished not having to worry about tuition or feeling tired to the bone. Despite all this, like David, I am truly grateful that God supplied all my needs.

Reflect on the situations you are facing. Everything may not be the way you wanted, but rest assured that God supplied all your needs.
