Focus Chapters:

  • Exodus 32-34

Standout Verse(s):

Exodus 33:14-16 NLT

The Lord replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.”

Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.”

Observation (s):

  1. Moses recognized that God’s presence in his and the Israelites’ lives made the difference. God’s presence means protection, provision and favour. He refused to leave his present location without God as his personal companion.

    Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us?

  2. When God walks with you, you are set apart. You are different. Even the people you are not close to will notice.

    For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.

Application:

I can’t even walk without Him holding my hand. I know and have felt the consequences of when I tried. Jehovah, the I AM.., that I am, is able to supply all your needs. When God walks with you, your path is cleared. Unforeseen doors are opened. Your victory is guaranteed before you have even begun your journey. Mountains are moved or tunnels are created through it. He parts every Red Sea. He feeds you. He quenches your thirst. He protects you in the desert like He did for the Israelites. He delivers you from every Egypt. He handles every Pharoah.

He directs you to the things and people meant for you, like He did with Issac. You find favour in unexpected places. When God walks with you, you find peace in the midst of the storm.

When God walks with you, He gives you rest and everything is fine. Moses knew and understood this. Jacob’s cry was “Lord I won’t let You go until You bless me.” Moses’ cry was “I won’t go if You don’t go with us.” What will your cry be? Don’t walk without God’s personal guidance.

Hi, I`m Chañel. I used to be a people-pleaser who gave 200% because of my love for people. As a result, I almost lost my mind and my life. Today, my goal is to make sure people stop putting themselves last. And, if possible, never experience what I went through!
