Application:

Developing a habit is hard work. However, it is so easy to maintain habits once we have acquired them. Developing habits can be correlated to the development an exercise jogging routine. At first, it is hard and you can only go a certain distance before your lungs and body start protesting. You have to force yourself to go. Overtime, you find yourself going further, extending yourself. Eventually, it becomes routine. Also, let’s not overlook the fact that the physical and mental effects of developing this routine tends to be amazing and worthwhile.

God wants us to have good spiritual habits. In fact, we are called to study and meditate on God’s Word continually to ensure we are in constant alignment with God. Developing the right spiritual habit requires hard work and dedication, however, the results are certainly worthwhile. Our constant alignment with God guarantees our success and prosperity in whatever we set our hands to. What’s a little hard work and when it guarantees such amazing results!
